We hopped out of our cozy beds in Nungwi and jogged over to the beach. I stopped at the shining sand and gazed over the gorgeous ocean thinking about how lucky I am to be here in Zanzibar. I floated through the calm waters wit my back brushing against the powdery sand. I would scurry my hand into the sand to find a magnificent shell. I rowdily played with my brothers, and every once in a while I got dunked underwater with confusion. We splashed together until my mother called, “Lunch!” and we hopped or to our restaurant. We first ordered our mouth-watering smoothies, (read julien’s blog: zanzibar’s secret (about smoothies)) then ordered the rest. We slowly munched on our food and dove into the water once more. We called a taxi to pick us up. It was a lazy ride home.
