Today, we went to the Piedras Blanca Parque Ecologico. We had been to Colombia two years ago, and we loved this place. From beautiful flowers to windy roads and monstrous insects, it was all so amazing. We took a metro and a cable car up a hill to the Piedras Blanca Parque Ecologico. As we got on the cable car, we looked down at Medellín and up at the steep foggy tip of the hill. We slowly moved up into the clouds until we could see Medellín no more. We reached the summit of the hill and went fairly straight for a while, spotting bromeliads on pine trees and looking down on the thick canopy of trees.

We finally got off the cable car and stretched our limbs. There is a beautiful little area with flowers and a big grassy field. We walked around, and finally got a cab to a park where there is a lot more things to do. It was really curvy and we were moving really fast, so on every turn we went: Whhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We finally got past the curvy windy road and halted at the park.

We entered and ate a delicious lunch. I was so excited for an entomology museum, where you could put giant insects on your hands and examine species of ants. We took a walk through the nature, looking at moss crawling over the plants and spotting bugs on the ground. We walked until we finally found the butterfly house, but we needed tickets and the butterflies are not really out on cold and/or cloudy days. It was a cloudy and cold day, so we didn’t go. *Sniff*.

We finally got to the entomology museum, but it was closed for renovations. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We then just decided to walk around and look at the nature. I looked at the ferns, trees, grass, and just the nature itself. We looked for pretty rocks until it was time to go home.
