We have had a great time on our world travels. But now our travels outside the United States are coming to an end in only about a week. We will be on a flight to the United States, where we will spend our final weeks before returning home.
The thing I am most excited for in the next month would be Idaho, a very familiar place where we will see Nancy for the first time in more than 380 days. I just feel this particular happiness of being in Idaho, much more than being in any other place we will have travelled this year. I don’t know how to describe the feeling; I just feel this sense of belonging. Even more so for Seattle. Being on the car ride to Seattle is going to be the most exciting thing ever!!!
But ending worldschooling is also a sad process. This worldschooling is an adventure I will never forget, one to treasure for the rest of my life. Going to the Amazon feels like the crescendo of this great journey. It also feels like we have just started a bigger journey, one that will spread through the course of my life as an adventure full of learning and opportunities. I feel I have just seen a glimpse of what is to come.
